250A Adare Manor Opportunity M'dn H'dle
The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Eoin Christopher McCathy, trainer of Colliers Quay, for an additional 10 minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).
Kevin Healy, rider of Green Grass, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped novicey.
D.J. O'Connor, rider of Myhero La Colmine (FR), trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up injured down the back straight.
250B Hollymount Nursing Home H'cap H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined O'Grady Cracker, trained by Andrew Slattery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
250C Paddy Smyth Memorial (Mares) M'dn H'dleThe Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference at approximately the one furlong pole involving Amina (GER), ridden by A. Harvey, placed first, and Ronnie's Rascal, ridden by B. Hayes, placed second, where it appeared there was contact between the two. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. B. Hayes stated that he received pressure approaching the last hurdle and there was contact rounding the last bend, he further added that it had cost him some ground. A. Harvey stated that his mount rolled around slightly, but felt he had done all he could to prevent any interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards, made no alteration to the Judge’s placings. They were, however, satisfied that A. Harvey was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his clean record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.
B. Hayes, rider of Ronnie's Rascal, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount suffered interference.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident after jumping the first hurdle, where it appeared a number of horses came close on the landing side of the hurdle. Having reviewed the footage, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
250E BOYLE Sports Home Of Early Payout SchaseJ.J. Slevin, rider of Runcok (FR), trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped left and stayed on in the closing stages.
250F Corrib Oil Beginners S'chaseD.J Gilligan, rider of Donnie Devito, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped.
250G Ir. Stallion Farms EBF (F) INH Flat RaceMr D. Doyle, rider of Rathnaleen Aj, trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.
Mr S. Connor, rider of The Lodge Lane, trained by Peter Lawlor, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left.
Mr D.G. Lavery, rider of She Means Business, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.
